Introduction

Spring Back To Life collects and uses personal information about individuals. This can include clients, prospective clients, partners, associates and any other individuals that Spring Back To Life has a relationship with; or may need to contact. This policy describes how this information is collected, handled and stored to comply with legal requirements. Data protection regulations have existed for many years to safeguard an individual’s data. On 25th May 2018 enhanced rules came into force known as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What information do we ask for and how do we use it?

Within Spring Back To Life the relevant bases for collecting and processing personal data will be Consent and Contract. Consent: where the individual has given clear consent for Spring Back To Life to process their personal data for a specific purpose. Contract: where the processing is necessary for a contract we have with the individual, or because an individual has asked us to take specific steps before entering into a contract.

Spring Back To Life will only collect the data required to provide the services you have enquired about or have contracted with us; for example name, address, telephone number(s), email address. Additional information relating to you and your personal status may be collected during coaching sessions; over the phone or face to face; during Zoom calls or within an email exchange.

Personal data collected by Spring Back To Life will only be used for coaching and recording purposes, it will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any third party.

How long will it be stored?

Personal information will be kept for the duration of the working relationship; and a further 7 years as required to comply with legal obligations. Information will be securely stored; and any paperwork will be stored such that it is only accessible to the coach.

Your individual rights

We recognise individuals’ rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and our responsibilities when collecting and processing personal data. We will always explain why we are asking for your information and will provide details of data stored should you exercise your rights to a Subject Access Request. You may also ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate or permanently delete the records we store about you.

We will automatically delete any personal information when our association ends (given appropriate legal restrictions).
